About the position: In this role, you'll work with advanced products and systems in an operation that is in an exciting growth phase while also investing in strengthening its design expertise in Stockholm. In the role, you work at the intersection of electronics and mechanics, with a focus on design and integration of, for example, circuit boards, cabling, electronics enclosures, and other electronic equipment. A large part of the work takes place in CAD and includes design, 3D modeling, and the preparation of drawings and design documentation. You typically work on several projects in parallel, giving you a varied day-to-day with different products and technical challenges. At the same time, you become part of a competent team where you collaborate with several different engineering disciplines and have good opportunities to continue developing within design. Your responsibilities: In the role, you will, among other things: Work with design and mechanical integration of electronics Develop design solutions for, for example, circuit boards, cabling, and electronics enclosures Work with CAD, design, and 3D modeling Prepare and further develop drawings and technical design documentation Work with installation and placement of electronic equipment in larger systems Solve technical design challenges together with other engineering disciplines Collaborate with designers and other technical expertise within the organization Work on several development projects in parallel and, if needed, contribute to feasibility studies and innovation work What we're looking for: You have a bachelor's or master's degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent technical field You have at least 2–3 years of relevant work experience in design You have experience with CAD, design, and/or 3D modeling You have experience with or good understanding of design where electronics and mechanics meet You are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing, as both languages are used in daily work It is advantageous if you have experience with electromechanical design or mechanical integration of electronics, for example work with circuit boards, cable routing, electronics enclosures, or similar. Experience with CATIA is also advantageous, but not required. If you have good design skills and experience from other relevant CAD tools, there is an opportunity to learn the specific environment on site.
