ShortLink is now seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our growing team in Linköping. This role is perfect for you if you want to combine your electronics background with innovative design work – and at the same time contribute to the development of tomorrow's smart products. About the Role
As an Electronics Engineer, you will have a varied and technically challenging role where you work on projects developing optimized and cost-effective electronic systems. You will work with both analog and digital system design and participate in the entire product development chain – from requirements specification and concept to finished product and testing.
The role combines analog and digital system design where work takes place in ShortLink's own facilities and prototype development and testing occur in our own lab environment. You work closely with both customers and colleagues in small, cross-functional teams with short decision-making paths, where your contribution has significant impact. Here, in-depth technical analysis is combined with creative problem-solving and innovation.
Examples of work tasks:
Design and optimization of analog and digital systems
Work across the entire development process – from requirements specification to design, testing, and verification
Bring-up of new prototypes, troubleshooting, and performance measurements
Customer dialogue to ensure requirements and deliver tailored solutions
We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent knowledge
At least two years of experience in electronics design, with focus on hardware development and PCB design
Practical experience working with CAD tools for PCB layout
Multiple years of experience in electronics development
Good English skills, both spoken and written
A structured and solution-oriented work approach and the ability to work both independently and in teams
Meritorious:
Experience with Altium Designer
Experience with lab work and prototype development
Good Swedish language skills
