Holmbergs Marin and Motorteknik AB is now looking for an electrician who wants to develop within marine electrical systems, automation, and advanced control systems. With us, you'll become part of a small, specialized team with high technical expertise and significant individual responsibility.
This is a role for you if you want more than traditional electrical work – whether you already have experience with marine systems or currently work as an installation electrician, industrial electrician, or service electrician and want to take the next step.
We work with shipping companies, industrial enterprises, and public organizations, including contracted work for Trafikverket's ferry service.
About the Position
The work is varied and combines fieldwork with workshop tasks. You work from a service vehicle and plan most of your workday yourself, which provides a flexible and independent role.
Your responsibilities may include
Electrical power and control systems onboard vessels
Engine controls on land and at sea
Automation and PLC systems
Navigation and monitoring systems
Troubleshooting, service, and installation
Travel is a natural part of the work.
We Are Looking For You
You have technical curiosity and thrive in a role where you take responsibility and develop.
Meritorious:
Experience in industry, automation, or control systems
Experience with marine electrical systems or ship electrical systems
Knowledge of PLC and automation
Personal qualities:
Solution-oriented and initiative-taking
Thorough and responsible
Technically interested and driven to learn new things
Self-directed but works well in a small team
