We are now looking for an additional Electrical Distribution Technician at Lidköping Environment and Technology, a role for someone who wants a practical, varied, and meaningful job at the heart of Lidköping's power grid. Here you work both independently and with experienced colleagues to keep the power grid safe, modern, and operationally reliable, year-round. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY As an electrical distribution technician, you work with the entire chain in our power grid, from distribution stations to customer connection points. You handle service, maintenance, and troubleshooting, while also participating in network expansion and modernization. The work involves physical activity, varying environments, and technical challenges where no two days are the same. Working hours are 07:00-16:00, and after gaining the necessary qualifications, scheduled on-call duty is included. You will become part of our operations department and work closely with both the operations manager and work supervisor. Examples of work tasks: Service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of overhead lines, underground cables, substations, cable cabinets, and transformers Cable laying, cable splicing, and installation of new substations together with excavation contractors Repairs and excavation of cable damage Work at heights when necessary Documentation and digital reporting in our systems The position involves civil service placement within Lidköping Environment and Technology if you are not already placed higher. A background check will be conducted. WHO ARE YOU? We are looking for someone who is trained as an electrician, electrical distribution technician, or has other equivalent electrical technical background. You have experience working practically with electrical installations or electrical distribution and enjoy a job where you can combine technology, problem-solving, and physical activity. You have good physical fitness, like working outdoors in all weather, and always prioritize electrical safety. As a person, you are thorough, service-minded, and unpretentious. You are comfortable in both customer contact and collaboration with colleagues, while being able to work independently when the situation requires it. We are looking for someone with: training in electrical installation, electrical distribution, or equivalent experience documented experience working with voltage levels 0.4-40 kV ability to work digitally with reporting and documentation very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Category B driving license It is advantageous if you have a BE driving license as well as qualifications such as ESA, EBR, or Work on Road.
