About the Role
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Design Engineer with us, you become a central part of the technical organization and work closely with colleagues in mechanics & piping, automation, project management and operations. You are responsible for design, engineering and technical documentation related to electrical systems and instrumentation in our production environments. The role is broad and varied with the opportunity to follow projects all the way from concept to completed installation.
In this role you will, among other things:
Prepare design and engineering documentation for electrical and instrumentation systems
Work with drawings, schematics and component selection
Participate in investment projects and modifications of production equipment
Ensure that installations and designs comply with internal procedures, GMP requirements and relevant standards (such as Electrical Installation Regulations, ATEX and IEC/EN standards)
Lead assembly work and perform installation inspections
Contribute to risk analyses, FAT/SAT, technical reviews and field verifications
Work closely with automation, mechanics, operations and external suppliers to find safe and sustainable solutions
You report to the Head of Technical Services and the role is based in Karlskoga.
Who Are You?
You have post-secondary technical education in electrical, instrumentation, automation or equivalent, and you have experience in engineering or design in industrial environments, preferably within the process or chemical industry. You master CAD tools for electrical and instrumentation work and have a good understanding of industrial control systems and field instrumentation. Experience working in a GMP environment is a merit.
As a person, you are a thorough, responsible and structured design engineer who thrives in a project environment and appreciates working cross-functionally. With your technical interest, collaboration skills and proactive approach, you contribute to creating safe, efficient and future-proof solutions for our production facilities.
In this role you need to master the Swedish language in speech and writing.
