announces a job vacancy – Building and Grounds Maintenance Manager
(Vidrižu pagasta pakalpojumu sniegšanas centra)
(full-time, gross monthly salary – 998 EUR)
Main job responsibilities:
Maintain parish roads, streets, and squares (road planning, repairs, installation and renewal of road signs, culvert maintenance and repairs, removal of bushes in road corridors, sweeping roads and streets during summer, clearing roads and streets of snow in winter);
Maintain documentation for road inspections and maintenance records;
Be responsible for street lighting, square lighting, and other public areas in the parish territory;
Design and maintain green spaces, as well as maintain the cleanliness of the parish territory, and require this from individual and multi-apartment property owners;
Perform various repair work as directed (cosmetic repairs of premises, minor damage repairs to water supply and sewage systems, and other minor repair work in properties managed by the parish utilities).
Requirements for candidates:
General secondary or professional secondary education;
Work experience in equivalent job duties will be considered an advantage;
Knowledge of the structure, operating principles, and usage regulations of technical equipment used in work;
Category B driver's license;
Good computer skills (email, MS Word, Excel);
Accuracy in work performance, positive attitude toward work;
Good communication and cooperation skills, high sense of responsibility;
State language proficiency as required by regulations.
