We expect: secondary vocational or first-level higher education; professional experience in a relevant field (tractor operation experience in road maintenance, construction, or agricultural work) of at least 2 years; ability to apply professional knowledge in practice; ability to prioritize, independently organize and plan your work, work in a team; ability to make independent decisions; high sense of responsibility and precision; good Latvian language skills, English language skills at conversational level are desirable; good skills in using technical tools and systems used at work (MS Office, internet); TR1 tractor operation license; Category B driver's license (for driving with manual transmission); eID card for performing job duties. Main job duties: Using tractor equipment and attachments, perform road maintenance and other territory management and restoration work at the "Sēlija" military training ground. Plan the work schedule for management at the "Sēlija" military training ground in accordance with military exercises and military facility accessibility. Perform fire safety mineralized strip restoration and creation at the "Sēlija" military training ground. Monitor the technical condition of tractor equipment and attachments and, in case of damage detection, immediately prevent further deterioration and report to the division manager. Perform tractor equipment maintenance work (in accordance with their operating instructions), such as - lubricating mechanical joints, replacing bulbs, replacing wear parts, etc. Prepare justifications and documents for necessary equipment repair work and purchases. We inform you that the position competition will take place in two rounds - during the first round, the competition commission will evaluate the submitted documents and the candidates' compliance with the requirements. For the second round of selection - interview, the competition commission will invite only the candidates who have passed the first round selection.
