Finance Manager for a Growing Nordic Conglomerate
We are expanding and seeking a finance manager who wants to be part of building our operations, finance function, and company culture.
We are an entrepreneurship-driven conglomerate with operations across several Nordic countries in the construction sector. The pace is sometimes high, decision-making paths are short, and finance is close to operations.
Now we are looking for someone to join our Varberg office who thrives in this environment and wants to make a difference together with others.
About the Role
As finance manager, you will have a central role in the conglomerate. You will work closely with operations in Varberg and collaborate with our companies and finance functions throughout the Nordic region.
Your assignment is both strategic and operational. You help us understand how our companies and projects are actually performing: Where do we make money? Where are we losing margin? What can we do better?
You will work with:
Monitoring of companies, projects, and profitability
budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and reporting
liquidity and cash flow
financial management and group matters
coordination between our Nordic companies
development of processes and common working methods
support to project managers, company managers, and leadership
foreign trade and cross-border financial matters.
We are not looking for someone who only wants to work at a high level. Sometimes you need to dig into the numbers, help with a financial statement, or sit down with a project manager to understand what is actually happening in a project.
Who Are You?
You are a business school graduate with several years of experience and feel confident in accounting, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and analysis. You also have experience with foreign trade and the financial questions and flows that come with cross-border business.
Maybe you are a finance manager today, or you are a Finance Manager, accounting manager, or controller who is ready for the next step. Experience from project-based operations and international conglomerates is a merit.
