About the Role
As Chief Financial Officer, you have overall responsibility for the company's finance function and work both strategically and operatively. You become a central function in the organization and work closely with the company's owner and management by preparing financial analyses, reports, and decision-making documentation that form the basis for important business decisions. The role involves close collaboration with management.
You are responsible for the accounting work in the Swedish company as well as our subsidiaries in Belgium and Germany and have close collaboration with colleagues both nationally and internationally.
Examples of responsibilities:
Responsible for ongoing accounting and annual closing
Prepare monthly reports, financial statements, and consolidated accounts
Budget, forecast, and liquidity planning
VAT reporting
Monitoring and analysis of results, profitability, and costs
Budget, forecast, and variance analyses
Monitoring of production economics and manufacturing costs
Responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable
Drive development and optimization of financial processes
Prepare financial analyses, reports, and decision-making documentation that support the company's owner and management in both strategic and operational decisions.
We Are Looking For
You have an academic education in finance and several years of experience in a leading finance function within manufacturing industry. You thrive in an operations-focused role where you can combine analysis, structure, and business acumen with operational responsibility.
We would like to see that you have:
Higher education in finance
At least five years of experience as Chief Financial Officer or similar role
Experience from manufacturing industry
Good knowledge of accounting, reporting, and financial management
Experience with consolidated accounts and international companies
Good understanding of production economics and manufacturing costs
Experience with budget, forecast, and variance analyses
Good Excel skills
Experience with business systems, preferably Monitor
Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written
German is an advantage
