Become the person who holds the finances together at two family-owned sawmills – a broad role with significant responsibility and short decision-making paths. We are two established sawmills with a long history. Ljungträ AB in Munktorp outside Köping specializes in small timber, short lengths and generates approximately 100 Mkr in revenue with approximately 20 employees. Boda Såg in Dalarna AB, just north of Falun, focuses on small timber and generates approximately 80–90 Mkr in revenue with approximately 16 employees. Together we produce approximately 80,000 m³ of wood products per year. The companies are family-owned and operated as two separate entities, but collaborate closely and leverage synergies in raw materials, sales, and administration. About the role As Chief Financial Officer, you lead and are actively involved in the finance function of both companies. You will be based at Ljungträ's office in Munktorp, which is your base and where you will also serve as administrative director and office manager. You will handle the accounting for Boda Såg largely remotely, in a role that is most comparable to an internal consultant for the company. • Lead and work operatively in the finance function for both companies • Serve as administrative director and office manager for Ljungträ in Munktorp • Manage accounting for Boda Såg remotely from Munktorp • Develop the companies' administrative systems, analyses, and drive continuous improvements You report to Christoffer Ljungkvist, CEO of Ljungträ, who is your direct manager. Boda Såg is led by CEO Dan Törnberg. What you do in practice • Analyze and report monthly financial statements for both companies on an ongoing basis to the CEOs and boards • Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and projections, with focus on rolling 12 months and actual results • Drive controlling and profitability monitoring by product, customer, and company • Create calculations for investments and major expenses (pre- and post-project analysis) • Manage HR matters; employment agreements, laws and collective agreements, and participate in union negotiations • Review and procure corporate insurance • Handle IT and systems issues in ongoing operations • Coordinate board materials and manage communication with auditors, banks, and suppliers Sustainability As a sawmill, we work with a renewable raw material and sustainability is a natural part of our operations. Requirements for sustainability reporting are increasing even for smaller companies, and you have an important role in building and developing our sustainability reporting going forward. We are looking for someone who has • University degree in finance or accounting • Documented experience as a finance and/or accounting director, with hands-on experience of ongoing accounting • Strong analytical skills and business acumen • Strong drive – you make things happen, with quality • Ability to combine big-picture thinking with attention to detail • Good, inclusive leadership • Fluent Swedish and good English skills We export a large portion of our production, so experience with currency and price hedging is a merit. You are unpretentious, trustworthy, and comfortable taking significant responsibility. Valid driver's license required. Health screening is part of the recruitment process.
