Matpolen prepares and delivers meals to elderly care, home services, the OBS department, as well as schools, preschools, and upper secondary schools. JOB DUTIES As a kitchen assistant with us, you will work broadly within large-scale kitchens with varied tasks. The role includes preparation and salad preparation, plating and some cooking, as well as dishwashing and cleaning. You are also responsible for service and hospitality toward our guests. The work is varied and takes place both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in a team. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is flexible and service-oriented, with good hospitality toward both colleagues and guests. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are stress-resilient, and have strong teamwork skills, while also being able to work independently when needed. Furthermore, we see that you are organized, have good planning abilities, and a genuine interest in food and service. Experience from work in a kitchen or restaurant is required for this position. Restaurant training is a merit, as is knowledge of food hygiene and special diets/allergies. Since the work involves handling recipes, special diets, and various types of lists, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
