The role involves broad responsibilities where you will collaborate with colleagues in Sweden and internationally in the organization's Shared Service function. The role is newly created, which gives you the opportunity to influence working methods, routines, and responsibilities together with the finance manager and colleagues. About the Role As an accounting assistant, you will have a broad role in daily accounting management and in ensuring correct and efficient processes. You report to the finance manager in Sweden and work closely with colleagues in the accounting team as well as external suppliers and customers. Examples of tasks: • Bookkeeping of supplier invoices, accounts receivable, and vouchers • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts • Handling VAT and tax reporting as well as supporting documentation for tax returns • Support in monthly closing and preparation of internal reporting • Contact with suppliers, banks, and internal stakeholders to ensure cash flows and payments • Participation in improvement work and implementation of new routines and system support To succeed in this role, we see that you have • Relevant post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent work experience • Experience with continuous bookkeeping and working with multiple different accounting systems • Good computer skills and experience with cloud-based accounting systems and Microsoft 365 • Good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish and English Who are you?
