We're now seeking a colleague for a temporary position of 11 months with a possibility for extension. You'll become part of our finance department consisting of approximately 30 employees where we create results together through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a good work climate. We work in three groups but with a shared drive – to develop, deliver quality, and have a good day at work. Here you'll have the opportunity to grow, make an impact, and gradually take on more advanced tasks. What you'll do as a Finance Assistant at Folksam As a Finance Assistant with us, you'll have a varied daily routine where you work with registration and bookkeeping of incoming payments as well as managing outgoing payments. You'll participate in investigations, rebookings, and corrections and collaborate with insurance brokers, banks, auditors, and colleagues across Folksam. You'll also work with the following: Drive and participate in efficiency and improvement work as well as projects Bank account reconciliations of bank, premium, report, and settlement accounts Assist our internal and external auditors with materials and documentation Provide support to the business on various finance matters. You'll have an important role where your commitment and ideas contribute to developing both working methods and the team as a whole. Are you the one we're looking for? We're seeking someone with experience in ongoing accounting and bookkeeping, plus a completed secondary education with a focus on business economics or relevant post-secondary education. You have good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word and Excel. You can express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. It's an advantage if you have: Experience from the banking and insurance industry Experience working with digitalization and automation. We place great importance on your personality and mindset.
