Finance Manager at Trans El Matic AB, Jönköping

About the Role As Finance Manager, you will independently manage our finance function – from operational accounting to analysis and financial management. The role includes a strong business and controller focus as sales are tracked on a project basis. You will be part of our management team and work closely with our CEO on strategic decisions and business development. You report to the CEO and work from our office in Jönköping. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the company's ongoing accounting, prepare monthly and annual financial statements, report taxes and VAT, prepare annual reports, and liaise with auditors Support the CEO and management team with financial matters. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase profitability and efficiency Controller-oriented work including ongoing analysis of operations and project tracking. Support project managers and the sales organization with financial analyses and decision-making materials Drive budgeting and forecasting processes and participate in setting targets, strategies, and plans for the business Reporting to management, board, and parent company Ernströmgruppen Responsible for the company's payroll process, including payroll preparation, payroll processing, and related reporting What We're Looking For We are seeking someone with experience in independent financial work, who is analytical and driven with an interest in understanding the business behind the numbers. You thrive in a broad role where you can combine accounting, controlling, and analysis. You are interested in and driven by improving systems, processes, and ways of working to create efficiency and quality. You have relevant academic education in finance or equivalent and have several years of experience from a similar role. If you have worked close to operations in a small or medium-sized company and have experience reporting in an ownership structure, we see that as a plus. As a person, you are energetic and unpretentious team player – you both can and want to challenge the organization in a business-oriented and engaging way.
