About the Position As Financial Manager, you'll be responsible for the company's finance function while providing crucial support to the CEO and site managers on project tracking, profitability, and operational management. You'll be a natural bridge between finance and production, with the opportunity to contribute analyses and improvement suggestions that create value for the business. The role is broad and varied, including some administrative tasks. The office is located on Hisingen, and since many colleagues spend significant time out at project sites, you'll be a natural hub in the organization. You have an important role in creating structure and ensuring smooth daily operations, while working closely with both the CEO and site managers. Responsibilities • Manage company finances from ongoing accounting and financial statements to annual reports, accounts receivable, invoicing, and reporting • Prepare financial analyses, follow-ups, and decision-making materials for the CEO and management • Support site managers in project tracking, cost control, and profitability analyses • Manage payroll and administration of pensions and insurance • Develop and streamline finance processes, routines, and system support • Contribute to administrative and operations-related matters as needed Relevant Background We're looking for someone with experience in qualified finance work who feels confident in the entire accounting workflow. You're drawn to the opportunity to independently manage finances in a company where you work close to operations and can influence its direction. It's a plus if you have experience from construction, contracting, or project operations and understand financial tracking in projects. Experience in controlling or analysis work is also valuable. You're comfortable with systems and quick to learn new methods and digital tools. We perform asphalt, earthwork, and construction services for municipalities, industries, property companies, and road and housing associations in Gothenburg, Mölndal, Kungälv, and Kungsbacka and surrounding areas. Since its start, GVAB has cared for the environment and actively works on environmental and quality management within the company.
