Tenö Varv is now looking for a Finance Manager who wants to become an important part of the business and contribute to its continued development.
Financial management has previously been handled with support from both local and group resources. Now we want to strengthen the organization with an on-site Finance Manager who works closely with operations, projects, and daily activities.
This is a role for you if you thrive on taking responsibility and want to be part of the business rather than a remote support function. You'll get a broad and independent role where you manage the company's finances from start to finish, while also providing analysis, follow-up, and financial support in day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
As Finance Manager, you are responsible for the company's finances and financial follow-up. The role is broad and combines operational accounting work with analysis, reporting, and operational support.
Project accounting, including invoicing and follow-up, is an important part of the work. You will work closely with the project administrator and other parts of the business to ensure that finances are tracked clearly and professionally.
Your main responsibilities include:
Ongoing accounting
Accounts payable and receivable
Project accounting and project follow-up
Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monthly reporting
Budgeting and forecasting
Analysis and monitoring of business finances
Development of financial routines and processes
Support to management and operations on financial matters

We're looking for someone with extensive accounting experience who feels confident independently managing the entire financial process. You learn new systems easily; we currently work with systems such as Visma Business, Medius Capture, and our custom-built system. You have the ability to understand how systems work together and how everything connects. Project accounting is nothing new to you, and you enjoy tracking and analyzing finances in a smart way.
As a person, you are self-driven, solution-oriented, and thorough. You ensure that finances are correct and clear for everyone. When you explain figures and processes, you do it in a simple way that is really easy to understand. Our group language is Swedish, so you need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Ö-borgen has its office on Öckerö in Gothenburg's northern archipelago. You will spend a few days there during your introduction and travel there a couple of times per year to meet your finance colleagues.
