We are currently looking for both junior and senior economists who want to be part of an engaged team and contribute to the operation's financial management and monitoring. About the role As an economist, you will have an important role in day-to-day financial management and support the operation with financial monitoring, administration and reporting. You work closely with managers, project leaders and colleagues in different parts of the organization and help ensure high quality in financial processes and decision-making materials. The role suits you if you enjoy working both operationally and analytically and want to develop in an environment characterized by collaboration, responsibility and continuous improvement. Responsibilities In the role, you may among other things be responsible for: Ongoing financial administration and financial monitoring Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable Invoicing and payments Account reconciliation and bookkeeping Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing work Budget work and forecasts Preparation of financial reports and analyses Support to managers and the operation on financial matters Development and streamlining of financial processes and procedures Who are you? We are looking for someone who is meticulous, well-organized and has a genuine interest in finance. You enjoy a role where you can take responsibility for your work while collaborating closely with colleagues and the operation. You have an analytical approach, good problem-solving skills and appreciate working in an environment where quality and precision are important success factors. We are looking for you who have: Post-secondary education in finance, accounting or accounting Experience in financial work, for example as a financial assistant, accounting economist or equivalent Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious Experience in project accounting Experience in budget and forecast work Experience from larger international organizations or manufacturing industry Knowledge of business systems such as SAP, Agresso, IFS or similar We offer We offer full-time consulting assignments with placement in Linköping.
