In this role, you'll work broadly with both accounting and controlling in an operation where finance plays an important role in decision-making, efficiency, and profitability. About the role As an Economist/Controller at PartnerTech, you'll become an important part of a competent finance team. The role is close to operations and offers significant responsibility as well as good opportunities to influence and develop both working methods and processes. Accounting and Reporting You'll be responsible for, among other things: • Preparing annual reports • Participating in monthly and annual closings • Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations • Contact with auditors and preparation of audit materials • Preparation of financial reports and analyses • Contact and reporting to authorities Controlling You'll actively work with: • Production controlling with focus on cost tracking and efficiency • Customer calculations and quotation support • Investment calculations • Calculation and tracking of hourly rates and standard costs • Support in budget and forecasting work Development and Business Support The role also includes: • Developing and improving financial processes and routines • Supporting and training other departments on financial matters • Providing qualified support to the organization through analysis, advice, and guidance Who are we looking for? We're seeking someone with experience in qualified finance work within accounting and controlling, preferably from manufacturing industry. You're analytical, structured, and enjoy a role where you combine numbers with operational understanding. We'd like to see that you have: • Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics from a university or college • Experience in similar tasks • Good knowledge of the Office package • Experience with Monitor G5 is a merit • Experience from the defense industry is a merit but not a requirement As a person, you're thorough, take responsibility, and find it easy to collaborate with different functions in the organization.
