The Finance Department provides support and guidance to the municipality's committees, administrations, companies, managers, and residents. The department is responsible for short- and long-term financial planning and resource management, invoicing and claims management, accounting and follow-up, financial statements, and other finance administration tasks. 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Main responsibilities: • Ongoing finance work, accounting, reconciliations, and financial statements • Work with budgeting, follow-up, forecasts, and controlling • Contribute to improving work methods, routines, and processes • Participate in projects You will have varied and stimulating work with significant personal responsibility. As an Economist, you will be an important part of the department you support. In close collaboration with the department's managers and colleagues, you work to monitor financial performance, analyze results, and develop the department's budget. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant education in finance or other experience that the employer considers equivalent. We would appreciate it if you have previously worked in a politically governed organization, as this will make it easier when you take on your new responsibilities. We would like to see that you have experience with qualified finance work, with a focus on accounting, budgeting, and controlling. You have good system skills, find it easy to learn new business/finance systems, and are a proficient Excel user. We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious, and structured. You have an interest in both numbers and processes, and enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with others. You are not afraid to take on operational tasks when needed, while also having the ability to see the bigger picture. As an economist, it is important that you can structure and organize your work efficiently. Your ability to prioritize and focus will be valuable in handling the workload peaks that can occur during, for example, financial statement and budgeting work. As a person, you are proactive and driven, with the ability to take responsibility and independently drive projects forward. You are collaborative and have a knack for building trust and establishing good relationships. At the same time, you are analytical and structured, with an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. We see that you have a flexible work style and are accustomed to handling multiple tasks in parallel, while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
