Your main assignment is directed toward the Social Services Department, where you function as financial support to management and operations. You have a central role in the department's financial management, follow-up, and development, while also contributing to the municipality's overarching financial processes. The Social Services Department is responsible for the municipality's social services and municipal healthcare, with operations within elderly care, individual and family care, services for persons with disabilities, and municipal primary care. The department has approximately 270 employees and 18 managers. DUTIES With us, you will have the opportunity to work close to operations and contribute to the development of welfare in Bollebygd municipality. You will become part of a dedicated finance unit with broad expertise in municipal finance. We work close to operations and have a culture characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous development. Your duties include: • Providing qualified support to management and supervisors on financial matters. • Working with budgeting, forecasts, annual accounts, and financial follow-up. • Analyzing operational results and contributing to long-term financial sustainability. • Preparing decision-making materials, investigations, and financial analyses. • Actively participating in the Social Services Department's management group. • Developing and improving financial management, working methods, and processes. In the role, you will work in the finance system Raindance and the operations management system Stratsys, among other tools. The municipality is actively working with digitalization, operations development, and data-driven decision-making, where the finance function plays an important role in developing analysis, follow-up, and management. You will have significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to plan and structure your work in close dialogue with both the finance department and the social services department. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in economics or public administration from a university or college deemed relevant by the employer • At least three years of experience with qualified finance work in public operations. • Good knowledge of municipal finance and financial processes. • Experience with budget work, forecasts, annual accounts, and financial analyses. • Good computer and systems skills and experience working with Excel and various operations and finance systems. • Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Meritorious: • Experience as an economist or controller within social services operations. • Experience with staffing economics. • Experience with the finance system Raindance and the operations management system Stratsys. • Master's degree in economics or public administration. To succeed in this role, you need to be analytical, structured, and self-directed. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy building trusting relationships at various levels in the organization.
