About the Position We are looking for someone who wants to help create structure, security, and overview in a small private business where accounting is seen as a tool for making sustainable decisions and creating good conditions for people to do their best work. WiseMind is a small psychology and training practice. We are now looking for an experienced accountant for a part-time position corresponding to approximately 20 percent, with the opportunity to help us shape the role based on the business's needs and your expertise. Maybe you are a tech-savvy accountant who has retired but still want to be active a few hours a week doing something that feels rewarding, developmental, and meaningful. Or perhaps you are in a completely different phase of life and looking for a part-time assignment where you can use your experience in a way that makes a real difference. Our nice office is located in central Gothenburg and it would be an advantage if we could meet you as a colleague in person with us, but personal suitability is more important than where you are located. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop simple and sustainable routines for invoicing, budgeting, forecasts, and follow-up Support management and staff in understanding and monitoring the business's finances Contribute to ensuring that financial planning and follow-up occur according to an annual cycle and at a level appropriate for a small organization Prepare and present financial reports that help the business make sound decisions Support the business in maintaining good principles and routines in HR matters Provide support in processes regarding salary setting and other personnel-related issues Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and efficiency improvements in administrative processes Explore how AI and digital tools can be used to free up time from repetitive tasks, so that people have more room for relationships, quality, and business development. The role does not involve creating extensive detailed management or administration for its own sake. Rather, we are looking for someone who helps us find the right level – sufficient structure and follow-up for the business to function well, without creating unnecessary complexity. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with several years of experience in accounting work and a good understanding of the conditions in private business, preferably in small or medium-sized companies. You are comfortable in both an operational and advisory role where you combine accounting expertise with an operational perspective. We would like to see that you: Have relevant education and solid experience in accounting Enjoy budgeting, forecasting, and financial follow-up Have knowledge of or interest in HR matters and salary processes Are curious about digitalization, automation, and AI Appreciate working in a small organization where tasks sometimes cross traditional responsibility areas Enjoy collaborating and building good relationships. It could be possible to work one full day or two half days per week, or slightly more during certain periods and take longer breaks or work less during other periods.
