About the Job In the Bankruptcy Supervision division, we oversee that bankruptcy administration at Kronofogden is conducted correctly and in accordance with applicable law. As an economist in bankruptcy supervision, you actively work to ensure that bankruptcy administration is swift, lawful, and efficient. Your responsibilities consist of conducting financial reviews together with your colleagues and monitoring the financial management in bankruptcies and restructurings. You have contact with multiple stakeholder groups, such as bankruptcy administrators, restructurers, courts, and other external actors. You monitor that bankruptcy administration is handled appropriately, which may include visits to debtor companies and administrative offices. One of your tasks is to present information to groups. All employees at Kronofogden contribute to work against crime. Your responsibilities include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As an economist, you may, for example, alert other authorities if a person is receiving benefits on incorrect grounds. This can result in you helping to stop incorrect payments from the welfare system. Within bankruptcy supervision, we work closely together. It is important that work is efficient, and we place great emphasis on uniform work practices and sharing best practices. Good to Know The position is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an economist. Kronofogden offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working in the state means that you follow the state's values.
