About the Operation Healthcare Provider Services is one of the units within Economics Services and has a central mission: to support primarily private healthcare providers in the Western Sweden Region (VGR) with their administrative matters and to ensure that compensation for contracted care is handled correctly and efficiently. The operation is located in two places – Vänersborg and Gothenburg – and is characterized by team-based work, collaboration, and a commitment to providing excellent service in all interactions. Our mission encompasses everything from contract administration to registry care and financial administration, with a strong focus on support through email and case management. We strive to offer a quality-assured and accessible operation with the healthcare provider in focus. About the Work As an employee with us, you will become an important part of a team that has broad responsibility for administrative processes related to private healthcare providers. It is a development-oriented role focused on improving work methods and processes. You will, among other things: • provide support to healthcare providers on administrative matters • handle contracts and manage registry care in various systems • administer compensation to healthcare providers • process invoice files in the financial system The work involves both independent tasks and close collaboration with colleagues. You will have the opportunity to be a central part of processes that directly impact healthcare providers' conditions for operating their businesses. Please note that work tasks will change over time as these are not fully adapted to the economist position at this time. About You We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics or other education deemed equivalent and/or equivalent experience. You have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have experience with support and case management, and very good familiarity with digital tools and systems. It is a merit if you: • have knowledge of regulations regarding compensation to healthcare providers • are familiar with how the Western Sweden Region functions as an organization As a person, you are thorough, service-oriented, and thrive in a role where you combine independent work with teamwork. You have good analytical abilities and create structure, manage multiple cases in parallel, and meet our healthcare providers with clarity and professionalism.
