Department of Economics We are now seeking an engaged e-commerce coordinator who wants to be part of developing and improving the university's procurement processes. With us, you will have a central role in e-commerce work, where you combine systems, coordination, and service in close collaboration with both operations, suppliers, and our procurement staff. About the Job As an e-commerce coordinator, you will work with the management and development of the university's ordering process in Visma Proceedo. In close collaboration with the university's procurement staff, you will help ensure efficient, quality-assured, and user-friendly procurement processes. You will have a central role in cooperation between operations, suppliers, and internal support functions. The role involves both operational and development-focused work with a focus on creating well-functioning e-commerce flows and providing support to operations. Main responsibilities include: Development and improvement of the university's e-commerce flows Management, implementation, and follow-up of supplier connections Support and assistance to users in the e-commerce system Quality assurance of product catalogs and ordering procedures Work tasks are carried out according to established procedures, but there are good opportunities to contribute to the development and improvement of work methods and processes. You are also expected to actively participate in the procurement unit's continuous development work together with other colleagues. Your Background We are looking for someone who is organized, responsible, and quality-conscious. You find it easy to familiarize yourself with new tasks and systems and work in a solution-oriented manner with a focus on continuous improvements. To succeed in this role, you need to have good collaboration skills and enjoy building and developing relationships, both internally and externally. You are service-oriented, communicative, and have the ability to build trust with both colleagues and suppliers. Furthermore, you have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work, even during periods of high workload, and ensure that tasks are completed with high quality and within set deadlines. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. For this position, we require: Documented experience with e-commerce and e-ordering systems. Experience in coordinating and administering e-commerce processes. Experience working in procurement, purchasing, and/or economics. Good system knowledge and strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Meritorious qualifications include: Experience with the purchasing system Proceedo Knowledge of public procurement and the Public Procurement Act (LOU) Experience working in a government agency or public sector Experience training or supporting users in e-ordering systems Academic degree in economics or equivalent experience About Us SLU's procurement unit is responsible for e-commerce and the procurement process at SLU. The unit, which is part of the Department of Economics, consists of procurement staff, contract controllers, and e-commerce coordinators. The unit has a total of eight people.
