About the Assignment We at Novare are a proud and approved supplier of the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now seeking an experienced e-archivist for an assignment with a government agency based in Stockholm. The assignment is 50%, corresponding to approximately 20 hours per week, and runs for 6 months with the possibility of an extension for an additional 6 months. The assignment can primarily be performed remotely, but the consultant needs to be able to work at the agency's office in Stockholm when needed. Work is performed on weekdays during office hours, 08:00–17:00. The agency is in the process of archiving digital information to an e-archive and needs to strengthen its archival function with operational expertise. In this role, you will participate in implementing the e-archiving while contributing to the development of long-term working methods, processes, and procedures for the agency's information management. You will work with: implementing and planning ongoing archiving work to the e-archive working with selection, structuring, and quality assurance of information before archiving planning delivery packages and delivery order and performing test archiving working with search views and access solutions for archived information ensuring that deliveries meet relevant requirements regarding metadata, electronic documents, and archive reporting developing and supplementing documentation related to completed e-archiving developing reusable process and method descriptions for future e-archiving developing and revising governing documents, procedures, templates, and checklists within archival and information management contributing to establishing conditions for long-term management of the e-archive ensuring that archiving is conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines cooperating with operations, IT, and potentially external consultants There is also an opportunity to support the development and updating of the agency's archive reporting, information management plans, and to investigate retention scheduling issues. As an e-archivist, you are expected to drive your work independently, plan and prioritize your tasks, and take your own initiatives. At the same time, you need to be communicative and have a talent for collaborating with different parts of the organization. The role suits you if you are thorough, structured, and solution-oriented and enjoy translating regulations and archival expertise into practical working methods. Requirements for the Position at least 60 credits in archival science at least three (3) years of professional experience as an archivist in the public sector at least one (1) year of practical experience working with e-archives experience assessing which information should be archived and performing archiving to e-archives experience with delivery specifications, e-archive structure, loading, and verification of deliveries experience developing governing documents, procedures, and process descriptions within archival and information management good knowledge of the Freedom of the Press Act, the Archives Act, the Public Access and Secrecy Act, and the Swedish National Archives regulations (RA-FS/RA-MS) experience working with FGS (Administration Common Specifications) or equivalent metadata and delivery specifications good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams very good ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing ability to provide a reference from a similar previous assignment It is advantageous if you have experience working with LTA (Long-term archive) or another equivalent e-archive system.
