Here you have a unique opportunity to continue developing the digital archive of the future in close collaboration between archivists and developers. We are now seeking e-archivists to work with our digital archive built on open source, Roda.
Your work with the digital archive is important for the agency's ability to meet today's and tomorrow's challenges in managing digital operational information. You will be part of the group of archivists working with digital archiving and be part of the digital archive team together with the IT department.
As an archivist at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you will belong to the Operations Support Department, Information Governance and Archives, which leads strategic work within the entire information management area. You will be part of a work group consisting of approximately 20 archivists. Much of the work takes place in collaboration with one or more colleagues and with the business operations. As an archivist, you handle confidential information, which requires high standards for proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for you who
have a university degree in a relevant field of study, with at least 40 credits/60 credits in archival science including a thesis, or equivalent competence obtained through several years of work experience in similar work corresponding to at least 3 years of higher education
have very good analytical skills and a structured way of working
are action-oriented and can plan and manage your own work
quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks
have good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing
work independently while being good at collaborating and building good relationships.
It is meritorious if you
have experience with requirements specifications for digital archives
have experience planning and implementing deliveries to digital archives
have experience with archival matters in a large organization
have knowledge of database modeling, SQL, and XML.

Other Information
A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. Probation may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Possibility for remote work exists if the work allows.
