Be part of educating for the future workplace NBI/Handelsakademin is an established actor in vocational higher education. For over 30 years, we have educated people for professions where the working world needs competence and given thousands of students the opportunity to take the next step in their lives. Today we conduct programs in Malmö, Göteborg, Halmstad, Växjö, Luleå, Umeå and Skövde as well as online for working professionals in areas including IT/Tech, procurement and logistics, economics, sales, and construction and civil engineering. Our idea is simple: education should lead to real opportunities. For students, it's about knowledge, development and the path to a new profession. For the working world, it's about access to the competence needed to develop and grow. Therefore, we develop our programs in close collaboration with companies and organizations. Our educators are rooted in the working world and contribute with current knowledge, real experience and concrete cases. Through 30 years of operations, we have also built an extensive network of companies and other employers throughout Sweden. Now we want to strengthen our team in Malmö with a driven and relationship-building education manager. This is a role for you if you enjoy making things happen, building relationships and seeing people develop. As an education manager, you get significant personal responsibility and become the hub between students, educators, companies and the program's management team. You will have the opportunity to influence both the daily operations and how our programs develop to meet tomorrow's competence needs. Your role with us As an education manager, you have overall responsibility for one or more programs and follow them from planning and startup through implementation, quality assurance and development. You work independently but together with engaged colleagues and with a large network of companies and educators around you. You become an important contact person for our students, task manager for our educators and the one who ensures that the management team's decisions are implemented in practice. In the role, you will, among other things: plan, lead and follow up on your programs recruit and collaborate with educators from the working world meet, guide and support students during their education develop relationships with companies and organizations in the Malmö region work with internships and create opportunities for our students to meet future employers drive and develop the work together with the programs' management teams contribute to developing curricula and educational content based on the working world's changing competence needs work systematically with quality and continuous development of our programs. In other words, this is not a role where you only administer programs. You drive them. You get to combine project management, relationship building, problem solving and development – with a clear goal: that our students will succeed and that the working world will get the competence it needs. Who are we looking for? We believe you are a person who thrives with personal responsibility and enjoys having many contact points. You are structured and good at driving projects forward, while also getting energy from meetings with people. If you have previously worked as an education manager in vocational higher education, that is very meritorious. Experience from other educational activities, competence development or project management can also be a very good background. An established network within business and public activities in Malmö and Skåne is a plus. More important, however, is that you enjoy creating new contacts and have the ability to build long-term and trusting relationships. You are curious about how the working world is changing and interested in competence supply, education and people's development. To succeed in the role, you also need to be a good administrator, express yourself well in Swedish orally and in writing, and be able to communicate in English.
