About the Role Do you work in operations or maintenance and are interested in trying something new? Here you'll face technical challenges daily, contribute to Gotland's energy supply, and develop both professionally and personally. As an operations technician, you'll have the opportunity to work in a varied role where you're responsible for both operation and maintenance of our district heating production facilities. You'll ensure the facilities operate in a stable and safe manner while performing preventive and corrective maintenance to guarantee long-term function and reliability. Your daily work will include: Operation and maintenance of our production facilities. Repairs, troubleshooting, and practical mechanical work. Administrative tasks such as reporting and inventory. You'll be part of a team of 6 people, which is part of a larger team of 20 employees. There's a strong team spirit and broad expertise to draw from, and we help each other succeed in our daily work. This is a daytime position with on-call duties. Requirements As an operations technician, we'd like you to have the following competencies and experience: Relevant education in the field, such as technician through KY/YH or upper secondary school level. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency with the Office suite and good practice reading instructions. Class B driver's license. Merits Previous operational experience from process industry or experience with heating technology work Experience with mechanical work is valued You're a problem-solver with good collaboration skills, which is important as work happens close to your teammates and tasks are often solved together. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for driving your work forward. Working safely is a given for you. We know nobody knows everything from the start.
