We work in a newly built and state-of-the-art municipal building in Täby Center where we work activity-based. You will join a great team of 12 operations technicians divided into two work teams, where some work with technical service and some work with pump stations. The person we are looking for today will work with varying tasks where you will participate in each work team. Your Work Tasks Together with your colleagues, you will work to secure the drinking water supply to Täby by servicing and maintaining the city's underground infrastructure. We influence and plan for building a Täby that can handle tomorrow's challenges. We work with both daily maintenance of a more urgent nature and with preventive and long-term maintenance of our pipe networks and pump stations. • Everyone works daytime, and on-call duty is included in the position. Work Hours • Monday–Thursday: 06:30–16:00 • Friday: 06:30–13:00 • On-call duty included (every 5–6 weeks) When on call, you have a response time and must be on site within 60 minutes. Areas of Responsibility As an Operations Technician, you will be responsible for: ● Maintenance and service of pipe networks, pump stations, e.g., maintenance flushing of water and wastewater pipes. ● Conducting investigations. ● Water shutoffs. ● Repairs and inspections of the pipe network. Your Profile To succeed in the role of Operations Technician, we require that you have: ● Several years of experience with operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities. ● Good computer skills and previous experience with operation and maintenance systems. It is advantageous if you also have: ● Experience with flushing trucks. ● Welding license for PE. ● Training in road work 1-3. ● Leak detection training. ● Class C driver's license.
