About the Role Would you like a varied role with considerable responsibility in a team where support is just a conversation away? As an operations technician, you work daytime shifts at our facilities where you ensure operations and solve technical problems in the field. With us at Vattenfall Värme, you help enable tomorrow's climate-smart society. About the Role You will join a team of 6 colleagues. Together with your teammates, you ensure that production facilities are operated and monitored in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. Working hours are daytime shifts, and on-call duty typically occurs every 6th week. In addition to operations and monitoring, you perform self-inspections and continuous oversight according to established schedules. The work ranges from small routine tasks to development and improvement projects. Your main responsibilities include: - Operations and daily maintenance of our external production facilities consisting of heating and cooling systems located throughout Uppsala, Knivsta, and Storvreta - The entire process from fuel receipt, operational management of the facilities, continuous oversight, and certain preventive and corrective maintenance measures Qualifications We are looking for you with: - Operations experience from process industry or experience from heating technical work - Relevant technical education in the field, such as engineer or technician from KY/YH or upper secondary school level - Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written - B-class driver's license - Certificate as a certified operations technician is advantageous As a person, we would like you to be engaged and curious with a willingness to learn new things.
