Your work tasks You will primarily work with operations, supervision, and maintenance tasks at our largest wastewater treatment plant in Halmstad municipality. The work includes monitoring, optimizing, and developing treatment processes. You will work according to an established self-inspection program both independently and in groups. Your main work tasks consist of: Control, monitor, and optimize operations Cleaning of analysis instruments Sampling Ongoing contact with contractors and suppliers Preventive maintenance work Repairs and troubleshooting Ensure that resources and parts needed for work are ordered Together with other operations personnel, you work to ensure that daily operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations The role includes on-call duty according to schedule. Your qualifications To thrive as an operations technician, you should be able to work flexibly and adapt to unforeseen operational events. You are able to maintain focus in unforeseen stressful situations by working and acting in a systematic, methodical, and reliable manner. Being engaged and able to take initiative is important. Since the work is also of a practical nature, you must enjoy working with your hands. You have the ability to work independently, but also find it easy to collaborate and share your knowledge. As a person, you are engaged and contribute to creating a good work climate. It is advantageous if you have: technical education or experience that the employer deems equivalent education with a focus on operations/process, control and regulation technology, or equivalent experience from operating water and sewage facilities or process industry knowledge in computer-controlled automation, electronics, control technology, chemistry, and biology Since our facilities are geographically dispersed in both Halmstad and Laholm municipalities, you need to have a driver's license, be able to be flexible, and be willing to help wherever needed. We place great importance on your personal qualities. Requirement to master the Swedish language without limitations in both speech and writing.
