Job Description Do you have experience in property management and enjoy maintaining close dialogue with customers in your daily work? Do you like working independently while contributing to a well-functioning whole? Akademiska Hus is now looking for a facilities technician who wants to be part of our dedicated team. As a facilities technician in the Östermalm area, you will have a broad and operational role where you, together with colleagues, are responsible for stable, safe, and customer-focused property management. You work closely with KTH, one of our largest and most important customers, and are an important contact person for our tenants. You contribute through high presence, proactive service, and clear communication. The area includes both modern facilities with state-of-the-art technical installations, innovation, and sustainability, as well as older buildings from the previous century where our work on development and energy efficiency is a central focus. The position is based at our newly renovated and welcoming office on KTH Campus, where all properties are located within the campus area, creating proximity in your daily work. Responsibilities You work with supervision and maintenance Corrective maintenance You handle fault reports and plan and carry out maintenance measures You ensure the function, safety, and quality of both buildings and technical installations The role is practical and independent with significant presence in the properties, while you work closely with colleagues such as other facilities technicians, technical managers, and engineers You handle most matters yourself and bring in specialist expertise when needed Qualifications We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. To succeed in the role as a facilities technician, we see that you have: Good experience in property management as well as an interest in properties and technology Technical or property-focused education from upper secondary school with further study from a vocational university or equivalent professional experience Knowledge of technical installations, for example: electrical power and lighting, ventilation, plumbing and heating systems, control and regulation technology, energy and climate issues Good ability to express yourself in Swedish Good computer skills Class B driver's license Background checks will be conducted on final candidates About the Company Akademiska Hus AB Akademiska Hus is one of Sweden's largest property companies.
