The Property Office manages and develops a unique property portfolio that is important for Stockholm's residents, businesses, and visitors. The portfolio ranges from well-known Stockholm buildings to public spaces for culture and sports, office buildings, fire stations, market halls, palaces, estates, and cottages. We also manage nature and outdoor areas outside the city limits. We are located in the Technical Department Building at Fleminggatan 4, approximately a 5-minute walk from Central Station. Welcome to us For our operations unit, we are now seeking three committed facilities technicians with many years of experience in property management who want to work with exciting and unique properties together with experienced and competent colleagues, with the best interests of Stockholm's residents in focus. Many of our properties are among the city's most famous buildings, such as City Hall, the Culture House, Liljevalchs, Stockholm Stadium, Åkeshovs Swimming and Sports Hall, Zinkendamm's Sports Field, Östermalm Market Hall, and Stockholm City Library. Our operations unit currently has 46 employees. Our mission is to be responsible for the operation of the office's properties, including managing regulatory requirements, coordinating facility contractors, handling error reports, and working with energy issues and technical function. We are a competent, positive, and committed group that helps and supports each other and enjoys our work. We also have close collaboration with the office's technical management, customer management, and technical specialists. As a facilities technician with us, you will have a varied workday with many different types of technical issues and great opportunities to develop in your role. Greeting from your direct manager Hi, my name is Daniel Rosén and I will be your direct manager. As a manager, I am engaged and attentive and try to be as good a sounding board as possible. I work for a climate where we help each other and support one another, so as a facilities technician you are not expected to handle everything independently. Your role With a strong customer focus, you will be responsible for oversight, maintenance, and corrective maintenance of the property. You will participate in developing operational work at the office and be responsible for technical, environmental, and energy matters in the properties. Your main responsibilities • conduct inspections of the properties • receive and handle error reports • perform corrective maintenance • engage, coordinate, and follow up with suppliers for work within your area of responsibility • conduct order and execution inspection of work performed by suppliers • review supplier invoices • participate as needed in the implementation of planned maintenance and reinvestments • actively work with energy monitoring. Your competence and experience For this role, we are looking for someone with solid expertise in property management. We are looking for someone who has • completed vocational training with relevant focus or other education that we consider equivalent, or alternatively have acquired equivalent competence through many years of relevant work experience • many years of current experience in property management • good system understanding of building installations and their interaction • good experience communicating via computer/telephone/tablet as a natural part of work • a B-class driver's license • good ability to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
