Property Management and Services Division Region Uppsala is characterized by strong growth, and the Property and Services administration is an important part of this. We at Property and Services generate over one billion kronor in annual revenue and have approximately 400 employees. We develop, manage, and maintain over 760,000 square meters of floor space, from new advanced healthcare buildings to medieval castles. We also handle transportation and work with logistics solutions within Region Uppsala as well as provide meal services to hospitalized patients. Most of our customers are within healthcare, and our largest customer is Akademiska Hospital. Our Operations We are currently in an exciting, expansive period with both new construction and significant renovations underway at the hospital complex. At Property and Services Region Uppsala, you will work in a healthcare environment within the Akademiska Hospital area. You will receive varied, interesting, and responsible work tasks in an environment with competent colleagues and a range of technical systems. The Property Operations Division is a unit within the Property and Services administration. We are approximately 80 employees responsible for operation and maintenance of Region Uppsala's properties. You will join the HVAC group consisting of 14 employees who handle daily operations for HVAC, cooling, and medical gases in Region Uppsala's property portfolio. Your Assignment The work is varied, involves a great deal of problem-solving, and you have significant opportunity to manage your own work and contribute suggestions and improvements where you see needs and opportunities. You will work with operation, supervision, and maintenance, corrective maintenance, and facility services for the properties' cooling and recovery systems. The work also includes troubleshooting and emergency corrective measures on the hospital's cooling systems. The work also encompasses energy efficiency improvements. On-call duty is part of the position, and over time you may become part of the on-call group. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone interested in property technology and who thrives in a varied environment where you encounter both new and old, simple and complex. Requirements • You hold a cooling technician certificate, Category 1. • You have at least three years of experience as a cooling technician. • You are comfortable using a computer as a work tool. • You speak and write very good Swedish. • You hold a B driver's license. Meritorious • Experience with service and repair of household appliances. • Experience with control and regulation systems. Your Competencies As a person, you have good social skills with a positive attitude and are attentive to customer needs. You have good prioritization ability and are quality-conscious in your work. You take responsibility for your own work while being accustomed to and enjoying working as part of a team. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
