About the Role Do you work in operations or maintenance and are interested in trying something new? You'll face technical challenges daily, contribute to Gotland's energy supply, and develop both professionally and personally. As an operations technician, you'll have the opportunity to work in a varied role where you're responsible for both operations and maintenance of our district heating production facilities. You'll work to keep the facilities running stably and safely, while performing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure long-term functionality and reliability. In your daily work you will: Operate and maintain our production facilities. Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and practical work on mechanical tasks. Handle administrative tasks such as reporting and inventory. You'll be part of a 5-person work team within a larger team of 20 employees total. There's strong team spirit and broad expertise to draw from, and we help each other succeed daily. This position is a daytime role with on-call duty. Requirements As an operations technician, we'd like you to have the following competencies and experience: Relevant education in the field, such as technician certification from KY/YH or upper secondary level. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency with the Office suite and good practice reading instructions. B-category driver's license. Meritorious Previous operations experience from process industry or experience with heating technology work Experience in electrical work is meritorious You are a problem-solver with good collaboration skills, which is important since work takes place close to colleagues in the team and tasks are often solved together. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for driving your work forward. Working safely is a given for you.
