Operations Technician for Central Stockholm Would you like to work with technically complex facilities in an organization with a clear public mission? We are now hiring an operations technician for our operations district in central Stockholm. Fortifikationsverket is one of Sweden's largest property owners and a specialist in security and facility technology. Your Day-to-Day – Technical Operations in a Security-Classified Environment Region East's operations are conducted in Stockholm and Gotland counties, and this position is located in the Central Stockholm operations district. The Central Stockholm operations team is being built up and we have a need for several capable employees to maintain good operations, supervision and maintenance as well as corrective maintenance. You will independently work with operations and maintenance of our property portfolio. This involves participating in supervision and maintenance, performing corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance of mainly technical installations in buildings and associated infrastructure. The operations technician role is broad and you will come into contact with all existing building systems and you have ongoing contact with customers and suppliers. Scheduled on-call duty is included in the position. Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least upper secondary education in electrical, control, plumbing/HVAC or technology/property. You have previous experience in property operations, preferably with experience in electrical work, but also in for example plumbing/HVAC, refrigeration or control and automation. You have good administrative skills, good computer skills as a user of support systems, and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. Driver's license category B is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience in troubleshooting property technical installations and working with various building technical systems or control and automation technology. It is to your advantage if you have experience collaborating with both clients and customers. It is also to your advantage if you have education in electrical work, operations technology, plumbing/HVAC, ventilation, control and automation technology and energy optimization from a vocational college or university. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in wartime defense. Placement location is central Stockholm. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security classification. A security vetting with background check will be conducted prior to employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
