ISS Facility Services is seeking, for a customer in the automotive industry in Umeå, a dedicated Facilities Technician - Building and Operations. About Us We care for our customers' properties, employees, and visitors. We are experts in facility services and we deliver service solutions to businesses and public organizations throughout Sweden. We ensure that properties and workplaces are as efficient and inspiring as possible. Through our technical services, we create the conditions for productivity while minimizing risks. About the Role Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that our customer's properties and facilities convey an overall experience of a safe, attractive, modern, and sustainable workplace for employees and visitors. Examples of tasks include performing renovations and new construction, repairs and maintenance work, as well as rounds, troubleshooting, adjustments, and fault correction of the facility's operating systems. We offer a permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period. On-call duties are included in the position. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with education and experience in facilities management and building. We believe you have worked as a Carpenter and Facilities Technician/Operations Technician for several years and feel confident in most aspects related to properties and building. You have good social skills and a fine ability to independently see what needs to be done to drive the work forward. You also need the ability to collaborate, as the work sometimes takes place in teams. You are comfortable in the role as a company representative and share ISS's commitment to delivering world-class service. We believe you are accommodating and positive, and that you have an ease for creating and maintaining good relationships with both customers and colleagues. We highly value your personal and unpretentious commitment, as well as your ability to solve problems as they arise. A driver's license (Category B) is required, and forklift and reach truck certifications are desirable. Since the work can sometimes be physically demanding, it helps if you are in good physical condition. You need to speak and write good Swedish.
