The Technical Division operates its activities independently and consists of five operational areas: Street/Park/Harbor, Nyköping Water, Waste Management, Municipal Properties, and Meal Services. These are supported by a project department, finance department, and an administrative staff. The division employs approximately 400 permanent employees. Our stakeholders are the Municipal Executive Board, the Environment and Urban Development Committee, and the Culture and Leisure Committee.
Nyköping Water is responsible for all water and wastewater operations within the municipality, including operation, maintenance, and development of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and piping networks. The operations include 7 water treatment plants, 3 water towers, 12 wastewater treatment plants, 90 wastewater pump stations, a piping network of 90 miles, and its own water laboratory.
We are now seeking an Operations Coordinator for the operations department at Nyköping Water. Your main task will be to provide administrative support to the operations manager.

DUTIES

As an Operations Coordinator you will, among other things:
· Support the operations manager.
· Act as operations manager when needed.
· Prepare materials for decisions.
· Documentation and reporting to the unit manager or operations manager.
· Analysis, statistics, and follow-up.
· Collaboration and dialogue with colleagues within the operations, division, and municipality.
· Regular check-ins with the operations manager and work supervisors.
· Support larger projects and lead smaller projects.
Desirable Experience
It is desirable if you have experience with:
- Project management/coordination
- Leadership
- The water and wastewater industry
- Work in Maintenance Systems, Project Systems, Financial Systems, etc.
- Record keeping and archiving
- Municipal administration
QUALIFICATIONS

- Has previous experience in coordination within operations or process management
- Has relevant post-secondary education.
- Has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

- Holds a valid Class B driver's license.
You are a driven and clear person with the initiative to move issues, tasks, and matters forward. An important part of the work is relieving the operations manager of emerging tasks.
Our operations have great variety. You work best when you have the opportunity to plan, structure, and complete your tasks. You will receive your assignments both with short notice, ongoing, and planned according to our annual schedule.
The work includes giving presentations and coordinating meetings, so you need to have excellent administrative and communication skills.
