We are now seeking an Operations Security Technician who wants to contribute to developing operations at Stora Enso Fors. In the role as Operations Security Technician, you will have a central function in our team and work primarily with preventive maintenance, with a focus on ensuring high operational reliability of the mill's equipment. Together with other operations security technicians, you will monitor and assess the status of the mill's machinery equipment through continuous condition inspections. The results from the inspections form the basis for planning and managing maintenance efforts, such as bearing replacements, realignments, balancing, and lubrication. Through this approach, we can identify and address critical deviations at an early stage, before they risk developing into faults that could lead to costly operational disruptions or breakdowns. As an Operations Security Technician, you will be part of Maintenance Pulp Mill at Stora Enso Fors. The role focuses on mechanical maintenance, but also includes aspects of electrical and automation, with particular emphasis on rotating equipment. Main responsibilities: Systematic condition inspections Shock pulse and vibration measurements Analysis of measurement results Documentation related to preventive maintenance Troubleshooting and improvement work Tribology You will have great freedom to plan your own work, which is primarily conducted during daytime. However, some efforts may occur outside regular working hours, for example in connection with planned shutdowns. To succeed in the role, we see that you have completed upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on industry, electrical and energy, technology, natural sciences, or vehicles. You must be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A Category B driver's license is required, as well as being at least 18 years old. Forklift and overhead crane certifications are advantageous. Experience from a production environment, preferably in process industry, is viewed positively. It is also advantageous if you have previously worked with maintenance, condition inspections, continuous monitoring, or similar tasks. As a person, you are proactive and responsible, with a strong service, environmental, and safety mindset. You work in a structured manner, enjoy solving problems, and adapt easily when circumstances change. You have the ability to make independent decisions, act when necessary, and reschedule in a smooth and flexible manner. We also believe that you have a desire to develop and contribute to continuous improvements.
