JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The water and wastewater operations are embarking on an exciting development journey. To meet future demands for safe drinking water supply, sustainable wastewater management, climate adaptation, and increased resilience, we are implementing an organizational change that will strengthen the operations long-term. As part of this development, we are now seeking an Electrical Operations Manager who wants to take a key role in leading, developing, and coordinating work within the electrical field. The position combines leadership, technical responsibility, and operational development in a socially critical operation. The water and wastewater operations are responsible for: • Ensuring access to safe drinking water according to the Swedish Food Agency's requirements. • Managing and treating wastewater according to applicable environmental regulations and permits. • Managing stormwater in a sustainable and climate-adapted manner. • Planning, building, operating, and maintaining water and wastewater infrastructure. • Developing operations to meet future needs, legal requirements, and technical challenges. • Ensuring long-term financial sustainability and a good work environment. • The operations are impacted by increased requirements for security, digitalization, and regulatory compliance, including new EU directives and security requirements such as NIS2. About the Role As Electrical Operations Manager, you have personnel and work environment responsibility for the electrical department, delegated from the Water and Wastewater Operations Manager. You are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on daily work while contributing to the long-term development of operations. You will also serve as the responsible party for electrical installations regarding regulatory compliance. In this role, you will, among other things: • Lead, allocate, and follow up on work within the electrical department. • Have personnel and work environment responsibility for employees in the electrical field. • Receive, prioritize, plan, and distribute incoming work orders. • Be an important link between different operational functions and contribute to good cooperation. • Be responsible for and develop work in IDUS, the operations' maintenance system. • Ensure that electrical installations and systems comply with applicable laws, regulations, and safety requirements. • Be responsible for the self-monitoring program within the electrical field. • Participate in investment, maintenance, renovation, and new construction projects from concept to completed installation. • Communicate technical solutions and issues to different audiences. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a background in electrical engineering, automation, industrial operations, or other relevant technical work, and who wants to combine technical expertise with leadership. To succeed in this role, we believe you: • Have experience leading, coordinating, or planning operations and personnel. • Have good knowledge of electrical installations, electrical systems, and relevant legislation. • Are structured and have the ability to prioritize and create order in an operation with many parallel assignments. • Have good collaboration skills and build trusting relationships. • Can communicate technical issues in a clear and educational manner. • Work independently, take responsibility, and drive work forward. Experience from water and wastewater operations, process industry, energy operations, or other socially critical infrastructure is a merit.
