ISS Facility Services has an exciting collaboration within Integrated Facility Service with a customer in the automotive industry with multiple sites in Sweden. At the Tuve site, we're now looking for an engaged and business-driven Facilities Manager - Building Operations with the ability to develop operations. About the Role As a Facilities Manager at our customer, you'll have an important function in service delivery. With responsibility for results, you'll lead both small and large projects together with your colleagues and you're also involved operatively. Your task is to ensure that we deliver services according to the customer's expectations and the established agreement. You'll lead operations toward set goals in close collaboration with the customer, colleagues, and your manager. Since we also work with subcontractors, you'll have responsibility for supervision and coordination of these. Examples of main tasks and areas of responsibility included in your role: - Ensure that operations are optimally sized and staffed. - Ensure that work is carried out safely and in accordance with laws and other agreements as well as ISS policies and values. - Continuous customer contact with focus on meeting the customer's expectations. - Responsible for operational matters and develop these in consultation with your manager and other colleagues in the operations area. - Estimate work and provide quotes to the customer. - Project management. - Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the agreed contract. - Responsible for and ensure development of the assignment so that the contract is managed as efficiently as possible at all times. - Procurement of materials, supplies, and tools. - Budget and forecasting work. - Financial responsibility for the unit and its subcontractors. - Work operatively as a Carpenter. In the role, you'll have freedom with responsibility and will independently conduct dialogues with involved parties. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone with work experience from the construction industry. You bring practical knowledge as a Carpenter as well as experience in economics, work supervision, and project management. Since coordination occurs both internally and with the customer and subcontractors, we see that you have good communication skills and experience collaborating with different types of stakeholders. Planning and communication is largely handled via email, phone, and case management systems, which means you need to have good IT and system skills as well as good administrative ability for the role. Electrical knowledge, training in Energy Optimization and Control Systems, BAS P/U, ESA/EvA, and Construction Law are advantageous. A Class B driver's license is required. You are a responsible, unpretentious, and service-oriented person who enjoys working toward the goal of "Satisfied Customer" in order to maintain good and long-term business relationships. You're not afraid to take your own initiative and have the ability to independently drive projects and improvement work. You have natural leadership qualities, good social skills, a talent for delivering world-class service, and you're a good ambassador for ISS Facility Services. You have a positive attitude and a talent for spreading enthusiasm. You have an eye for both details and the big picture. You're driven and enjoy close collaboration with customers and employees. You're practically inclined and have the ability to work preventatively rather than reactively.
