Do you want to work with operations, electrical systems and automation in an essential community service where your technical expertise makes a real difference? We are now seeking an operations engineer for the energy operations at Nässjö Affärsverk AB where you'll work broadly with operations, troubleshooting and development of facilities that deliver district heating and electricity to the community. About the Role As an operations engineer, you are responsible for planning, monitoring and optimizing the operations of district heating and electricity production facilities. You work with troubleshooting in electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, and ensure that the facilities' operations monitoring systems function correctly and are updated as needed. The work also includes handling emission measurements and technical investigations related to the facilities' function and environmental requirements. The role involves broad and practical responsibility where you work together with colleagues to ensure high operational reliability and continuous process development. On-call duty is part of the position and involves participating in on-call rotation every fourth week with a 30-minute response time. Your Profile To succeed in the role of operations engineer, we believe you have a background in electrical systems or automation where you have worked practically with troubleshooting and operations in an industrial environment. You thrive in a role where you can combine technical work with problem-solving and where you have an important function in ensuring that facilities operate as they should. We believe you have experience working with control systems, PLCs or other automation equipment and feel comfortable analyzing operational disturbances and finding solutions when problems arise. As a person, we see you as an initiative-taking team player who enjoys independent work and can handle time-pressured situations. Mandatory Requirements: • At least 2 years of work experience within automation, electrical systems or equivalent roles • Relevant technical education in automation, electrical systems or equivalent • The position involves on-call duty with a 30-minute response time, which requires you to live in or near the Nässjö area • B-class driver's license Meritorious for the Position: • Previous experience with project management • Boiler operator certification • Experience with emission measurements About Nässjö Affärsverk AB NAV operates district heating, fiber, electrical networks, water and wastewater, waste management and maintenance of streets, parks and recreational facilities in Nässjö Municipality.
