Would you like to be part of an important public service? We are now recruiting an Operations Manager for our patient transport operations, commissioned by Region Stockholm. We operate from three stations in Stockholm: Rosersberg, Kungens Kurva, and Västerhaninge, with approximately 150 employees. We are seeking an Operations Manager based at Kungens Kurva. About the Role As Operations Manager, you are a key person in daily operations and serve as the direct manager for a team of nursing assistants and patient transport personnel. The position involves overall responsibility for daily operations and staffing. You must be trained as a nursing assistant, as the role requires you to work directly with patients in operational activities when needed. The opportunity to engage in operational work strengthens your understanding of both your team's daily work and business needs – something we view as an important strength in this role. The position requires on-site presence at the station during office hours. Responsibilities • Lead and support employees in daily work • Manage daily operations, vacancy solutions, and staffing planning • On-call duty according to a rotating schedule, every fourth to fifth week • Ensure operations comply with agreements, procedures, and guidelines • Quality monitoring • Participate in the management team with other operations managers and operations director • Handle deviations and incidents • Ensure work is conducted with a focus on patient safety and a secure work environment • Responsibility for vehicle fleet – service, inspection, maintenance Qualifications • Nursing assistant with professional experience as a nursing assistant equivalent to at least one (1) year of full-time work. Ambulance care competence or equivalent formal knowledge level is considered equivalent to nursing assistant competence for this position. • Driver's license category B • 3-5 years of previous management experience in similar roles • Experience with Frapp (Region Stockholm's prehospital patient record system) and Rakel is a merit • Experience with the staffing system Flex is a merit • Technical understanding and interest are important, as you will work in several different digital systems • Good knowledge of vehicles with responsibility for service, maintenance, and daily operations • Strong communication skills in both speech and writing • Structured, solution-oriented, and responsible Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is engaged and confident in your professional role, with the ability to build trust and engagement with employees.
