We're now looking for a driven Operations Manager for our engaged reception team at Camp Ripan!
At the reception at Camp Ripan, you're the first person our guests meet when they arrive, and this is where they should feel the warm atmosphere that characterizes our entire facility. We're looking for someone who is ready to give their all to create magical encounters with our guests while also taking extra responsibility for running the reception.
Your responsibilities
As a receptionist, your primary duties are to receive bookings via phone, email, and in person for lodging, spa, activities, and other seasonal offers, work with upselling, and assist guests with questions and requests regarding their stay with us. As Operations Manager for the reception, you are also responsible for leading and driving the daily work and contributing to the department's development in accordance with Camp Ripan's values, goals, and vision. This means you organize, inspire, and lead the work at the reception and ensure that tasks are executed efficiently and with high quality. You're responsible for scheduling and staffing, and for contributing to a positive and efficient work environment by being an important team player and collaborating with other departments to achieve common goals and ensure a complete experience for our guests.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is a natural leader and enjoys working closely with both guests and employees. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a strong commitment to service and sustainability. You have a natural sense of hospitality, are service-oriented, and can handle a sometimes fast-paced environment. You enjoy having extra responsibility and are happy to take initiative to ensure that operations run smoothly. Previous experience in management within hospitality, reception, or similar roles is a merit.
Good Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required; other language skills are a merit.
Experience with booking systems and reception work is a plus.
You have an eye for detail and the ability to organize and structure work in an efficient manner.
You are flexible, unpretentious, and have a positive attitude, even when the pace is high.
