Operations Manager with strong leadership in the transport sector Do you want to lead a successful operation in positive development? We are now looking for an Operations Manager for Örebro with secure leadership who wants to take full responsibility for our depot and become a key person in our continued growth. About the role As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for our depot and its operations in Örebro. You lead daily operations, optimize bus and staff scheduling, and ensure that operations run efficiently, always with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role involves both operational and strategic responsibility with a strong focus on leadership. You lead personnel toward common goals and develop routines and processes that strengthen the entire business area. You have personnel responsibility for the entire operation and work in close collaboration with coordinators and traffic managers. You report to the Operations Director. Your responsibilities include among othersOperations Management: Ensure efficient and well-planned daily operations of the depots. Personnel Responsibility: Recruit, introduce, and develop employees to create an engaged, well-functioning, and high-performing team. Finance: Budget and profit responsibility for the depot's costs and revenues. Quality and Safety: Follow up and develop procedures for the highest possible operational reliability and delivery quality. Relations and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with clients and partners; you are an important representative for our company. Work Environment: Actively work for a safe, secure, and inclusive workplace. Governance & Follow-up: Ensure clear and consistent management of compliance with laws, policies, and procedures, and promote transparency regarding key metrics, results, and organizational development. Your results are measured by customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and personnel development. You are the one who ensures that we deliver both in the short and long term. Your profile: · Several years of experience in similar roles, preferably in bus operations. Otherwise, personnel-intensive areas such as logistics, production, or similar. · Documented leadership experience with secure and modern leadership · Master digital tools and systems for operations and planning · Good financial understanding and ability to drive operations toward set goals—analyzing key metrics is your thing · Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act, working time regulations for professional drivers, safety standards, and industry best practices is a merit As a person, you are a natural leader with the ability to have a holistic perspective on personnel and operational activities. You are analytical, action-oriented, and structured but also flexible and solution-oriented in daily work. You have strong communication skills, build trust, and motivate others through clarity, engagement, and present leadership. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English.
