The Culture and Society Development Administration consists of operations responsible for the management and maintenance of streets and parks, local traffic regulations, culture and recreation, as well as community planning, design, and development. The Workplace The Street Park operational area manages, maintains, and is responsible for the municipality's road network, public spaces, parks, municipal forest management, the operational area's work machines and vehicles, workshops, investment projects, and the municipality's overall vehicle organization. The operational area currently comprises approximately 30 people divided across units and operational support. The operational area also plays an important role in civil emergency preparedness and has personnel on standby every day of the week, 24 hours a day. Work Tasks As an operations worker with a focus on crane truck driving within Street Park, you contribute to ensuring that the municipality's streets, roads, parks, and public environments are safe, well-maintained, and pleasant for residents and visitors. The work consists mainly of transports and operational assignments with trucks, but other tasks within the operational area also occur. You will operate and handle various types of vehicles and machines, as well as participate in the care, maintenance, and development of the municipality's public environments. Work tasks may include: • Transportation of materials, equipment, and materials within the municipality's operations. • Operation and maintenance work on streets, roads, pedestrian and cycling paths, and parks. • Loading, unloading, and handling of materials with a crane and other equipment. • Maintenance of the municipality's facilities and outdoor environments. • Participation in snow removal, de-icing, and other seasonal initiatives. • Daily inspection and basic maintenance of vehicles and machines. • Collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and other municipal operations. The work is varied and involves both independent responsibility and close cooperation with the work group. On-call duty is included in the position. Work outside regular hours may occur for snow removal, de-icing, acute operational disruptions, or other events requiring rapid response. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: • Upper secondary education in a relevant field or other education that the employer deems equivalent • Experience within the field • B driver's license • C driver's license • Approved crane training • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is an advantage if you have: • YKB (Vocational Competence Certificate) • CE driver's license • Training/certification in Road Work (APV) • Operator's license for wheel loaders and excavators • Operator's license for other construction machinery Personal Qualities To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are flexible and able to adapt to changed conditions.
