Your responsibilities As a theater educator at Kulturskolan, you will inspire and guide children and young people through their creative process using theater and drama. You will plan and conduct instruction in close collaboration with other theater educators—always with the student's expression and development as the focus. Openness to working with integration issues and meeting students with functional variations is a requirement. You will become part of an artistic team with strong camaraderie and close collaboration across different subject areas. Who are you? We prefer that you have relevant pedagogical education. Experience with similar work is an asset. The position requires your ability to plan and prioritize your tasks. Since Kulturskolan teachers sometimes need to work together, such as in interdisciplinary projects, it is also important that you are skilled at collaborating with your colleagues. We want you to be a confident and attentive drama educator who places young people's wellbeing as well as artistic development at the center. You have the ability to see and meet individuals while keeping the whole group in focus. You have structure both for the individual lesson and for upcoming performances. You work with a calm, professional approach and have a natural ability to build relationships. You thrive in an environment where you contribute to development, joy, and courage, and you see drama as a tool for strengthening self-esteem, group cohesion, and creative exploration.
