Linköping Cathedral Parish is now seeking an experienced and inspiring cathedral organist who wants to help further develop the rich musical life in one of Sweden's most significant churches. The position requires musical competence, solid grounding in church music, and a strong ability to lead and develop choirs at a high artistic level. About the Position In this role, you will have primary responsibility for the Cathedral Choir and the Cathedral Chamber Choir, which includes: artistic direction rehearsal work voice and tone development recruiting singers repertoire planning The position also includes active participation in the Cathedral's worship life, concerts, and church services. In addition, you will share responsibility for the overall musical work at the Cathedral together with other church musicians. About You We are looking for someone with the following competence and experience: A-level organist diploma. Proficiency in liturgical organ playing. Grounding in the Church of Sweden's worship life and liturgical tradition. Ability to perform major works for choir and orchestra, both as organist and conductor. Choir pedagogy experience, preferably from work with advanced adult choirs.
