To continue this journey forward, we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Domain Architect for IT. About the Position You will be part of the IT Architecture Unit, which consists of 15 people. The unit's responsibility is to provide an overarching vision for Svenska kraftnät's IT architecture. As an Infrastructure Domain Architect, you will have a key role in the development and modernization of Svenska kraftnät's future IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. You will lead the work of developing and establishing a stable target architecture and roadmaps, and ensure that solutions follow the authority's strategic direction, standards, and high security requirements. The role involves close collaboration with solution architects and technology area managers, where you contribute to creating a modern, standardized, and robust infrastructure for a mission-critical operation. While being part of your own unit, you work cross-functionally and have a natural place in the Architecture Council, where you contribute to overall architectural development. The role involves balancing innovation with high demands for security, robustness, and regulatory compliance in a complex and mission-critical environment. Responsibilities: Lead and drive the development of target architectures for Svenska kraftnät's IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in public cloud environments Act as a senior technical advisor and management support, anchor high-level visions, provide decision-making support to managers, and ensure strategic choices and prioritizations Ensure that IT solutions are designed in accordance with target architectures and standards Drive standardization of IT infrastructure services to facilitate work in our development projects and IT operations Participate in collaboration groups for coaching and review of solutions, architecture governance, development of architecture frameworks, etc. Describe and communicate the architecture to relevant stakeholders Responsible for developing target visions and roadmaps Support portfolio management and the development of development plans within the operations organization Within the domain, lead and coach solution architects and technology specialists in projects and IT operations Stay updated on developments in your field About You Must-Have Requirements: We are seeking someone who is collaboration-oriented and comfortable working cross-functionally to achieve common goals. You have higher education/university education in a relevant technical field or substantial background in IT architecture and IT infrastructure acquired through work experience. You also have: At least 8 years of current professional experience working as an IT infrastructure architect in accordance with established architecture methods, tools, and processes At least 2 years of current experience acting as a domain architect or lead architect for infrastructure Several years of professional experience in technical work within IT infrastructure, such as application platforms, middleware, networks, storage, or operating systems – with in-depth expertise in at least one area Experience developing and anchoring target architectures within the infrastructure domain Experience with hybrid or cloud architecture (e.g., IaaS/PaaS services) Experience working in a large and complex IT organization Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Meritorious Certification in IT architecture (e.g., CITA, TOGAF, or Dataföreningen's architecture certification) Certification in other relevant infrastructure area (such as CISSP, PKI, IAM, Azure, VMware, Cisco, Red Hat, Windows Server, or similar) Experience with IT security within a mission-critical operation or operations with very high security requirements Experience with IAM Experience driving transformation toward DevOps principles, infrastructure automation through scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and/or modern platform engineering practices Good to Know The position is located in Sundbyberg Opportunity for remote work up to 50%, if work permits #LI-hybrid Travel may occur in this position Application deadline 2026-10-02.
