Domain Architect

We are now seeking an additional IT architect who wants to work with domain architecture within the Västra Götaland Region. Your Assignment As a domain architect with us, you will be primarily responsible for developing, managing, and handling the lifecycle of architecture for the business domains Specialist Care and Pharmaceuticals. You will manage your areas from four perspectives: business, information, application, and infrastructure. You will have significant individual responsibility for your domains but will also be part of a team of other domain architects where there is a strong spirit of collegial collaboration. We have an enterprise architect within the business area who supports and leads the work. You will work on preparing new initiatives and projects, documenting changes and target images in your domain, and support daily questions in projects together with solution architects. In these matters, you will work closely with business representatives, strategists, and system administrators to ensure that needs can be implemented in line with your domain's target architecture, strategies, and principles. As an architect with us, you will use our architecture framework Varvet365, which is based on TOGAF, and you will document the architecture using the tool OrbusInfinity. What Can We Offer You? It will be an exciting and challenging journey in the coming years, with major changes in regulations, such as the EHDS directive or NDI, where we will need your expertise and commitment. To Succeed in the Role, You Need: Relevant higher education and at least five years of experience working as an IT architect in larger organizations where you have defined IT solutions and developed target architectures in complex business areas. Furthermore, you have experience leading dialogues jointly with business and suppliers within healthcare regarding functional as well as technical requirements and target images. You have held the role of domain, enterprise, or solution architect and have deep knowledge of requirements gathering and application modeling. It is a merit if you have: Good knowledge and experience in infrastructure issues as well as system integration and system and application security. Experience with agile work and preferably a certification according to SAFe. Worked with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks. Experience procuring IT systems within healthcare. Experience in the functional areas of specialist care and/or pharmaceuticals. As a person, you have natural humility but are decisive. You are keen to be a team player who sees that the team is at its best together and generously shares your knowledge. You have good technical foundational knowledge and can explain technology to business and transform business needs into IT. You have experience leading others. You have the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. You like to be "where things happen" and are not intimidated by changing circumstances. This means you can make decisions even under some pressure. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Other Information We have offices in Gothenburg, Mölndal, Skövde, Borås, and Vänersborg. Most of our current domain architects are based at the Region's office at the central station in Gothenburg. Work location can be discussed at our various locations. It is possible to partially work from home in agreement with your manager.
